Gulf Coast Caravan July 26 – August 2, 2020

This week-long caravan will begin at Fairfield Lake State Park at the conclusion of the July HOTC Rally and end August 2nd on Padre Island. 

Things to do include swimming, fishing, beachcombing, visiting the Aransas Wildlife Refuge (winter home of the Whooping Cranes). We will also visit the Padre Island National Seashore and hopefully be able to participate in a baby turtle release!

Matagorda Bay -THE LCRA which manages the wonderful spot on Matargado Bay has issued such draconian rules including mandatory mask wearing at all times in the park and no groups of more than five people,for camping there that we are changing our site to the Serendipity Bay Resort and Marina in Palacious. So if you have made reservations at the Mataglorda Bay site, cancel them and make reservations at Serendipity Bay Resort in Palacious for July 28th and 29th. Call (361) 972-5454 to make reservation. Make sure you say you are with the “Airstream Group” They have a policy of not booking rigs that are over 10 years old, but have for obvious reasons waived that policy for Diane and her Wee Wind and our other vintage rigs.
